The criminal Division of Pierce County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office is looking for highly motivated attorneys to join our office as Deputy Prosecuting Attorneys. As a Deputy Prosecutor you will handle the prosecution of misdemeanor and
gross misdemeanor offenses at the District Court level. The Pierce County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office is located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, in Downtown Tacoma,
Washington. We employ 255 staff members that includes 140 deputy prosecutors. The Criminal Division is comprised of units that focuses on General Crimes, Violent Crimes, Complex and Financial crimes, Sexual Assaults, Domestic Violence/Human Trafficking, Misdemeanors, Juvenile and Appeals. It houses the Investigative Services Unit and our Victim-Witness Assistance Services. The Criminal Division reviews over 14,000 criminal referrals every year. The office’s Civil Division provides legal advice to county officials and represents the county in civil litigation matters. The Family Support Division protects the best interests of children, establishes parentage, and work to enforce child support.
